If you do any studying of the Bible, you are probably familiar with the most popular version which is Quickverse. If you do a search on the internet, you will see that it’s price ranges from $25 all the way up to several hundred. Well, great news! There is another Bible study software that is absolutely free and does the same exact thing! It is called eSword.

The great thing about this free Bible study software is that it includes Biblical photos, commentaries, several dictionaries, many free versions of the Bible, the ability to view four Bible versions at once (parallel view), write notes on each verse, highlight, bookmark, and much much more!

If you are one that likes to read the Bible in electronic format, then this free software is for you. I use it frequently. You will have to buy copyrighted versions of the Bible unfortunately (for example, Amplified and NIV) but it provides so many more versions, that almost seems unnecessary. You can compare it to the Quickverse versions below if you like.
